Orthodontics: Creating Healthy, Beautiful Smiles for All Ages
We like to suggest your child be seen no later than the age of seven, but it is never too late to have orthodontic treatment. Our patients range from ages 3 to 80. The treatment time varies on each patient depending on their needs. Some patients benefit from Early Treatment or Phase I to address urgent issues. This may decrease the treatment time for Phase II or avoid more serious problems, sometimes requiring jaw surgery.
It is important to remember that successful orthodontic treatment is a team effort between the orthodontist and the patient.
Everyone wants a beautiful smile, but more importantly, everyone should have a healthy one. The orthodontist’s goal is to achieve both for the patient.
Treatments We Offer

Metal Braces
Traditional braces are the most popular orthodontic option. We offer traditional brackets with colorful ties and metal self-ligating brackets. The self-ligating option uses small metal clips to hold the archwire, eliminating the need for ties and offering a more modern, efficient approach. These braces provide reliable results for various orthodontic needs, making them a trusted choice for patients of all ages.

Ceramic Braces
Clarity ADVANCED Ceramic Braces offer a discreet and comfortable way to achieve a beautiful smile. Their translucent material blends with teeth for an almost invisible look. This allows you to straighten your teeth confidently and without compromise, making them an excellent choice for those seeking an aesthetic alternative to traditional metal braces.

Invisalign®
At Abay Orthodontics, we use Invisalign® for our clear aligner system. Clear Aligners, like those used in Invisalign®, are a discreet orthodontic option using custom plastic trays worn day and night, except while eating or brushing. Trays are replaced every few weeks to gradually align teeth. While effective for many, aligners may have limitations in addressing severe orthodontic issues compared to braces.
